OZARK, Ala. -- Henry Wallace Arehart died Monday (Feb. 16, 2004) at Flowers Hospital. He was born Oct. 3, 1933, at Augusta County, Va., to Oscar L. and Josephine (Troxell) Arehart.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Arehart of Ozark; four sisters, Lucille Humphreys, Virginia Smiley, Dorene Arehart and Linda Marie Arehart, all of Staunton, Va., and two brothers, Wayne Arehart of Waynesboro, Va., and Eddie Arehart of Hermitage, Va.

Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 21, 2004) at First United Methodist Church of Ozark. Burial was at Westview Memorial Cemetery. Holman Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Mr. Henry Arehart, 70 of Ozark, died Monday morning, Feb. 16, 2004, in Flowers Hospital.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday Feb. 21, 2004, at the First United Methodist Church of Ozark with Rev. Joe Reams, Rev. Marty Hamilton, and Rev. Dr. Billy D. Gaither officiating. Interment will follow with full Military Honors in Westview Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Holman Funeral Home in. Ozark from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday Feb. 20, 2004. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time on Saturday. Flowers will be accepted or
memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Family Life Center 167 East Broad Street, Ozark, AL, 36360, or to Westview Memorial Cemetery Association, P O. Box 484, Ozark, AL 36361.

Mr. Arehart was born Oct. 3, 1933 in Fisherville, Va., moved to Staunton, Va., and entered the Air Force in 1957. Mr. Arehart worked with the civilian contractors at Fort Rucker as a Helicopter Maintenance Inspector. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ozark for 35 years, the John Wesley Sunday, school class, the Administrative Board, and worked with the Family Life Center. He was an avid woodworker.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Arehart, Ozark; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Lucille and Oscar Humpherys, Va. and Guy Smiley Dorene Arehart, and Linda Marie Arehart, all of Staunton, Va.; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Wayne and Linda Arehart, Eddy and Beverly Arehart,. Staunton, Va., and Hedy Owens, Ozark; one niece, Cindy Lee Harris, Opelika, Ala.; one nephew, Jimmy Owens, Ozark, Ala.; and several other nieces and nephews.
