Mark Alan Boley, 50, of Keokuk died at 3:27 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, in Lexington Square, Keokuk.

He was born on May 9, 1959, in Keokuk, the son of John and Elaine Lambert Boley.

He was united in marriage to Tammy Land on Dec. 1, 1999, in Keokuk. She survives.

Mark was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Keokuk.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles and watching the St. Louis Rams and St. Louis Cardinals play.

Mark enjoyed all the time he got to spend with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Additional survivors include: two children, Jason Carel and his wife, Becky, of Hamilton, Ill., and Asia Boley of Kansas City, Mo.; two stepchildren, Kara Wellington of Quincy, Ill., and David Monroe of Atlanta, Ga.; nine grandchildren, Alexis, Allyson, Evan and Eli Carel, all of Hamilton, Jaice Neal of Quincy, Jayden Murray of Kansas City, Mo., and Tara, Marcus and Jackson Monroe, all of Atlanta; five brothers, John Boley III and his significant other, Andrea Jones Boley, of Basco, Ill., Andy Boley of Sacramento, Calif., Doug Boley of Keokuk, Todd Boley of Keokuk, and Dan (Rosie) Boley of Burlington; two sisters, Pam (Mike) Belton of Keokuk and Peggy (Mohammad) Jahani of Sacramento; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, two brothers: Scot Boley and Dale Joseph Boley in infancy; a sister, Penny Boley Dill; and an infant daughter, Amber Elaine Boley.

A mass of Christian burial service will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at All Saints Catholic Church, Keokuk, with the Rev. Robert Lathrop officiating.

Visitation is after 3 p.m. today, with family meeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Greaves Mortuary, Keokuk.

Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk.

A memorial has been established for the family.

Greaves Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
