Club Caddy Found Dead
Ora Daniel Vance, 41, 722 Main Street, was found dead late last night on the grounds of the St. Joseph Country Club.
Andrew county Prosecuting Attorney Al Lance and Sheriff Carl Field said the body was found by an employee at the Country Club near a children's playground area a short distance behind the swimming pool.
Dr. W.E. Maxwell, Andrew county coroner, said death was due to natural causes.
A veteran of World War II, Mr. Vance for the last two years had been working as a caddy at Country Club and Moila club. He formerly was employed by Armour & Co.
Survivors include his father, Aaron A. Vance, a brother, Claude F. Vance, both of St. Joseph, and a sister, Mrs. Marie Howard, Agency, MO. The body is at the Stamey mortuary.
