Patricia L. Alberts, 77, of Wayland, Missouri, died at 8:30 am on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at her home.

Patricia was born February 14, 1937, in Carthage, Illinois, to Lee and Helen Winfield Montgomery. She was united in marriage to Robert M. "Buck" Alberts on February 14, 1960. He survives. Patricia was the owner of Paradise Gardens and a member of the Methodist faith and King's Daughters in Keokuk.

In addition Patricia is survived by her daughters, Debbie (John "Tater") Amons of Hamilton, Illinois, Brenda Gail of St. Francisville, Missouri, Denise (Jeff) Beaman of Cedar Rapids, and Barbara Whitten of Burlington, Iowa; two sisters: Phyllis (Don) Rague of Charles City, Iowa and Nancy Montgomery of Minneapolis, Minnesota; one brother, Donald (Jenny) Mitchell of St. Joseph, Illinois; brother-in-law Francisco Cabrera; and sister-in-law Marge Montgomery. Other survivors include her grandchildren: Michael (Maranda) Amons, Pamlah (Mychael) Teel, Dennis (Samantha) Gail, Chris (Bubba) Gail, Derek (Kayla) Gail, Ashley (Nathan Hoyt) Gail, Danian Nelligan, Laura Nelligan, Nick Nelligan, Allen Nelligan, Joseph Beaman and Sierra (Trent) Woolson; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends Mary Lou Brunstein and Annabelle Lammering, and Jack and Deisy Harrington

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gene "Bub and Kenneth Montgomery; her sister Jo Ann Townsend; her son Dennis Ray Alberts; a great granddaughter Kathryn Gail; a sister-in-law Barbara Cabrera; and her mother and father-in-law Jud and Laura Alberts.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2014, from 4 to 8 pm at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Center located at 917 Blondeau Street.

No service will be held at this time.

Memorials may be directed to the Blessing Hospital Cancer Center and the First Lutheran Church in Keokuk.
