Killed in action at Iwo Jima. serving with the US Marine Corps. He and his family paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

HIs brother Thomas conveyed to his uncle W.R. Klein that he was killed trying to rescue a fellow marine who was injured and pinned down. Allen was said to be unarmed at the time he was killed
