George Busen was the son of William and Mary Busen. He married Florence Loretta McEntee on October 29, 1907. George and Florence farmed in the Cooperstown area, however in the 1910 Census, George listed his occupation as carpenter. He was a hard working man and always ready to help those in need. He took his family to Church every Sunday at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mt.Sterling, which was 10 miles each way by carriage and in the winter he took a horse drawn sled. they rarely missed a Sunday, and every Saturday he took the children to Catechism.
