Carl Addison was a true Florida native, the son of Chester Addison and Nola Naomi (Williams) Addison. He was the grandson of the late Albert Benjamin Addison and Charity (Newell) Addison who homesteaded on Marco Island in the 1890's.
Carl loved working on his family genealogy and he was always eager to lend a helping hand to others who needed help with their own family research.
A WW11 Veteran, he served his country in the Merchant Marines and the U.S. Navy in the Pacific.
He was cremated and his ashes buried in Gardner Cemetery near his parents.
