Grace Lavada Hawkins Adam, 86, R.R. 5, Shelbyville, Indiana, died at 6:25 a.m. Monday, July 29, 1991 at the home of her daughter on R.R. 1, St. Paul, Indiana.
Born April 4, 1905 in Shelby County, Indiana, the daughter of Clyde D. and Mary Badgley Stainbrook.
Married Earl Robert Hawkins September 24, 1927; he died July 17, 1972.
Married Charlie Adam, March 3, 1975, and he survives.
Lived in Decatur County 1941 - 1975; returned to Shelby County.
Member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Decatur County.
Survivors: husband, two daughters, Mrs. Dale (Jane) Carmony, R.R. 1, St. Paul, Indiana, and Mrs. Richard (JoAnn) Davis, Greensburg; a sister, Madora Cochran, Greensburg; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. One son and two brothers preceded her in death.
Burial will be in the Flat Rock Cemetery.
