Samuel K. Adams died at the home of his sister, Mrs. S. A. Healy, in this city Sunday, Jan. 22, at the age of 80 years, 4 months, 25 days.
The deceased was born Aug. 20, 1830, at Bellville, Ill. He came to Wisconsin with his parents in 1855. They resided in the city and vicinity until 1859, when they moved to Prescott. In 1897 he returned to this city and here with his sister, Mrs. S. A. Healy, ever since.
He is survived by a brother, N. C. Adams of Omaha, Neb., and two sisters, Mrs. S. A. Healy and Mrs. D.B. Hyatt, both of this city.
The funeral services were held from the home Tuesday morning at ten o'clock, Rev. G. A. Bird officiating. The remains were taken to Prescott for burial. River Falls Journal 1-26-1911
