Bessie Hines, 90, 1025 W Second St., died early Saturday at home after a long illness.
A native of Monticello, Ky., she lived in Muncie for the past 51 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Hines, Willa Mae VanNatta and Charline Rudisill, and two sons, Donald and Paul Hines, all of Muncie; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and 46 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pirk, who died in 1972, and a son and daughter.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Rev J Edward Pease will officiate. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Calling is at the mortuary 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday.
