THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, December 10, 1918. 'Lemuel P. Harrison, for many years a well known citizen and business man of Paris, died at an early hour yesterday morning at this home on South Church street. He had been in failing health for several months and had spent some time in a hospital in St. Louis and had undergone two or three operations, but he failed to derive any lasting benefit. He was born in Albany, Ky., March 6, 1855, and was the son of William F. and Elizabeth Williams Harrison. He came to Paris about forty-five years ago and for a while engaged in the mercantile business; he then went in the real estate business and negotiated many important deal. At the time of his death he was one of the oldest, if not the oldest real estate men in Paris. After he had been living in Paris several years he married Miss Jimmie Craig and he is survived by his wife and by one daughter Mrs. May Biggers, the wife of M.P. Biggers of St. Louis. He is also survived by one brother who lives in Louisville, Ky. The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the residence and will be conducted by Rev. B. E. Wallace? The burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.'
