Ward B. Armstrong was the son of Benjamin F. and Rebecca J. (Hudson) Armstrong. He married on 14 Nov 1894 Sarah M. (*)Dickinson, daughter of J. M. (*)Dickerson. They were the parents of five children: Louie, Audrey J. (death by 1907), Ida, Neva B. (deceased by 1907) and Minnie D. - ARMSTRONG. His second wife was Sarah E. Lewis, daughter of John and Louvina (Ward) Lewis.
