Joan Lillian Brunner was born April 15, 1929 in Menomonie, Wisconsin. She was the oldest daughter of Harold and Mabel (Siefer)Brunner. She had 2 sisters, Phyllis Ernest, and Lorraine Brunner (died in infancy) 4 brothers, Duane Brunner, Harold, Donald and Larry. The later three mentioned alson died in infancy. The family moved to Dalton, Nebraska where the family farmed.
Joan married Marvin Pochon, Aug 22, 1946 in Wichita, Kan. After their first 2 sons were born they moved to Missouri, where they spent the rest of their days. They had 6 boys, Roger, Marvin Joe, Wesley, Antone (Tony), Harold (Tim) and Troy. Three daughters, Bonnie Wiskirchen, Tanya Byerley and Teresa Argent.
After most of the children were grown, Joan received her LPN degree and worked as a nurse until a degenerative spine would no longer let her. She was active in church work and OES.
At the time of her death, she had 26 grandchildren,and 17 great grandchildren and one on the way.
She passed away in her home, June 16, 2008, surrounded by as many family members could fit in the room, Singing her to glory.
