Marvin Pochon was born Feb 17,1927 to Roger and Hattie (Dieriex)Pochon in Sheridan County Neb.His parents were murdered in May of 1928. He was raised the next 12yrs in the foster home of Joe Dieriex,later by Agnes Beguin and at 17yrs joined the US Navy.He married Joan Brunner on Aug, 22, 1946. Together the raised 6 boys, Roger, Marvin Joe, Wesley, Antone, Harold Timothy and Troy, three daughters, Bonnie Wiskirchen, Tanya Byerley and Teresa Argent.
He had 4 sisters, Nellie Johnson,Lorraine Spillman, Viola Spillman and Mary Thompson, 2 brothers, George and Willis (Bud). He was a member of Park View Baptist Church, DeSoto, Mo. A member of Blackwell Masonic Lodge, Hillsboro Masonic Lodge, Past Patron of Hillsboro Chapter OES, IBEW Local #1, Mended Hearts, Past Asst. Scout Master, Disabled Veretans, and DeSoto Chapter of Demoly.
He earned his living as a commercial electrician.
He passed away January 12, 1999 at Deaconess West Hospital, in DesPeres, MO.from congestive heart failure.
At the time of his passing he had 26 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
