Shirley T. Brooks, 80, of Roanoke, went Home on Monday, April 18, 2016.
She was born and raised in Fort Springs, West Virginia, daughter of the late Carl and Glenna Lawhorne Brooks.
She was preceded in death by several siblings and a son, Bennie Joe Brant.
She is survived by her 4 children, Devra Fisher, Mike Brant (Sarah), Timmy Brant (Ashley), Anissa Clark (Steve), daughter-in-law, Sara Brant Crews, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a sister, Phyllis Cole and a brother, Arthur Brooks, numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will begin at 4 PM Wednesday. April 20, 2016 followed by funeral service at 6 Pm at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel, officiated by Pastor Terry Bradley.
Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church Cemetery, in Fort Springs WV.
