WINSTON-SALEM Mrs. Lucille Troutt Adams, 97, of Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born December 14, 1915 in Forsyth County to Samuel Joseph and Myrtie Fearrington Troutt. Mrs. Adams was the oldest member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she loved singing with the Morning Glories and was retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company after 40 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Adams, four sisters, a brother and by her son-in-law, Paul Baynes. Surviving are a daughter, Carol Baynes of Winston-Salem; two granddaughters, Robin McKeown and husband Kenny and Paula Gavlik, all of Clemmons; five great grandchildren, John Paul Gavlik, Thomas Gavlik, Lauren McKeown, Adam McKeown and Austin McKeown; and a brother, Joseph "Bud" Troutt. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Gayle Montgomery officiating. A private entombment will be held Monday at Westlawn Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Good Neighbor Fund, Trinity UMC, 3819 Country Club Road, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27104.
