Adkison, Felix Oren, 74, Grove,OK died July 4, at Grove General Hospital. Services were held July 8, at the First Christian Church, Fairland, with Pastor Ken Siemens and Pasto John E. Butler officiating. Interment was at Fairland Cemetery under the direction of Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.
He was born December 25, 1916, at Fairland. He was a former school teacher, construction worker and retired from Rockwell International, in 1982, as a tool engineer.
He was a former student of Seneca Indian School, Fairland High School, Murray State School of Agriculture, Panhandle A&M, and Northeastern State Teachers College. He was a member of the Cherokee Nation, United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians of Okla., American Society of Tool Engineers, and the First Christian Church, Fairland.
Survivors include two sisters, Oleta Willie Klaus, Long Beach Calif. and Wanda Cornelia Bowlin, Afton
