Georg Albert, who from childhood was musically inclined, took up public school music and taught this subject for several years in the public schools of Tarentum, PA. He had a fine Christian character and was beloved by all who knew him. During an epidemic of typhoid fever in 1896, he was stricken with the malady and with the old familiar hymn (Nearer My God To Thee) upon his lipe, he passed into the great beyond.
