Lee H. Allen passed away early Thursday, August 28, 2003.
He will be missed by his wife Cheryl Allen and his entire family and friends.
Dad loved American Fork.
He grew up in American Fork and never wanted to leave.
The son of Marvin and Fern Allen, he developed a great love for sports.
Dad spent many hours in his chair coaching the Denver Broncos, BYU, and the Utah Jazz on TV.
However, a Caveman at heart, his true love was watching his kids play basketball, baseball, and football.
Dad also loved teaching and spent 20 years teaching science at American Fork Junior High.
He was a hard worker who cared about his students.
When he was no longer teaching, he focused his energies on improving his yard.
It is quite possible he had the greenest lawn in American Fork without a sprinkler system.
Most of all, Dad loved spending time with family and friends.
He looked forward to lunch out with close friends and Sunday dinner with his family.
He especially loved playing with and holding his grandson Brady.
If you knew Dad you also knew he loved food and TV.
Dad's alarm clock was "The Price is Right"; he played right along from home.
He also loved a good buffet or picking out a place to grab a bite to eat in his coupon book.
Over the last few years, Dad taught everyone around him to value life.
Despite many health struggles, Dad kept busy.
He enjoyed working at the Bishop's Storehouse and attending the temple.
Thanks for all you have taught us, Dad. We already miss you.
Lee H. Allen is survived by his wife, Cheryl Allen; their children: Travis (Michelle), Tori, Ryan (Liz), Shelley, and Ashlee; grandson Brady Allen; brothers, Dale (Renee), Jay (Linda); and sister, Renae (Robert) Reese.
Funeral services will be held Sat., August 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the American Fork 16th Ward, 507 W. 700 N., American Fork, Utah.
A viewing will be held that morning from 9:00-10:45.

Forget that Ive stumbled and blundered
And sometimes fell by the way.
Remember I have fought some hard battles
And won, ere the close of the day.
Then forget to grieve for my going,
I would not have you sad for a day.
