She was the daughter of James Abner and Luda Irene Harris of Austin, Texas.
After they both died, him from a heart attach while loading a wagon and she died of TB they had Ola and her older sister Grace adopted by the George L. and Anna McDonald family of Anadarko, Caddo Co. Okla.
Ervin and Ola were married 11 May 1937 and had one son and three daughters.
Ervin d. 25 March, 1969 in Perry, Oklahoma and was brought for interment at Memory Lane Cemetery.
