June obtained her BSN at Duke University in 1957 and her MSN at Duke in 1958. During her lifetime, she practiced her profession in Durham NC, Boston MA, & Birmingham AL. She married George Cassady 02-Sep-1957 in Duke Chapel, Duke University, Durham NC. She was the wonderful mother of three sons, George Edward Cassady III, Michael Patrick Cassady, and Kevin Anderson Cassady. She died at the home of her brother, Herbert Anderson Reece II, in Skokie, Cook County IL, and her funeral was held 04-Jan-2003 at Christ Church Episcopal Church in Raleigh NC.
