Orel A Adams age 96 of Sunbright and a recient resident of Life Care Center of Morgan Co., passed away wednesday July 24, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center following a brief illness. He was Preceded in death by his wife Lela Mae Hall Adams, and infant son Ross Edward Adams his parents Calvin and Annie Adams, sisters Vola England, Beatrice Lavender, Nina Mae Hall and two infant siblings, granddaughter Naomi Higginbotham and grandson Ray Higginbotham. Surviving are a daughter Annette (Ronald) Smith, two sons, Robert Adams (Rose), Wayne Adams (Mary) all of Deer Lodge, Tn. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, Kevin L Bray (Amy), Celeste Bray Wadlow (Marty) of Texas, Shirley Cantrell, Claudia Dollmeyer (Bruce), Angelia Lange, Bryan Adams, Jay Adams, Elaine Adams, Laran Adams all of Illinios, David Adams (Debbie), Crystal Brian, Evelyn Adams fo AZ., Ronita Neer (Shane) of Clinton, Tn. Ronald Smith Jr. (Chelsea) of Wartburg, Tn., 29 great grandchildren and 20 plus great-great grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday evening July 27, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow with Rev. Roy Langley officiating. Graveside services will be Sunday July 28 at 2 p.m. in Smith Cemetery, Chestnut Ridge Community. He and Lela were married in Morgan co Tn. on 1-31-1939, they were both 21.
