Janice graduated from Wyandotte High School and married David Alonge in September of 1977. Together they moved to Wichita, Kansas in 1977 and then later moved to Great Bend, Kansas in 1982. In 1983 they moved to Fort Scott, Kansas and then to the Killeen/Temple area in 1986 and lived there for fifteen years. In 2002 they moved to the Houston area before residing in Beaumont in 2007.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-two plus years, David Alonge of Beaumont; two sisters, Mary Griner of Mound City, Kansas and Ruth Morgan of Fort Myers, Florida; daughter, Susan Alonge-Boehm and her husband Edward of Hutto; son, Jeffrey Alonge and his fiancé Lucia Ramirez of Austin; and granddaughter, Samantha Boehm of Hutto.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Iva and Harold Snider; sister, Helen Snider; and brother, James Snider.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Kansas City, Kansas. Local arrangements were under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
