Andrew Jackson Bolsinger, son of Christopher C. Bolsinger and Minerva Isabel Miller(daughter of Andrew Miller and Barbara Hook,was born in German Township, as was his father.
He was one of six siblings; Perry C. (1815-1878), John M., (1817-1906), Catherine Ann, (1819-1895), Derastus Treasure, (1827-) and Minerva Jane, (1830-Bet. 1900-1910.)

He married Nancy M. Simmons (b. 1830 in Tioga Co., N.Y. d. 1859.)

The Civil War records from 1861-1865 show he enlisted in 1861 at Colesburg into the 2nd Minnestoa Volunteer Infantry Regiment.
