Margery's third husband was Edward Ackerly, another widower, with five children and 48 years old when they married at Stithians on 21 Nov 1797. Nicholas Spargo, Margery's 20-year-old nephew, signed as one of the witnesses. Edward and Margery lived together another 25 years but had no children.
Edward Ackerly was buried at Mabe on 25 Aug 1822.
Margery was buried there on 22 July 1832. Her descendants, through her son Charles Halvoso, would be settled as stone cutters in Rhode Island by 1873 and in the early twentieth century would spread to Vermont, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
