Pat Bushway married (1) Stella Sulecki on 3 Jan 1920 in Wayne Co, MI. They divorced on 17 Dec 1942 in Detroit, Wayne Co, MI. They had two children and lived in Hamtramck, MI.

Pat married (2) Dorothy S. Wentz on 21 Jan 1943 in Detroit, Wayne Co, MI.

A WWI veteran, Pat served on the Hamtramck Police Force for 28 years. He retired as a Police Sergeant. He was a member of the American Legion, Henry Bushway, Jr., Post No. 24, the Metropolitan Club, Spirit No. 4 and the Public Safety Retirement Association.

Pat and Dorothy owned a cottage on Harsen's Island and enjoyed many summers there with good friends. My Grandmother, Ruth Haase, was a good friend of theirs. She brought me with her several times for long visits at the cottage. We would play 500 Rummy and watch the freighters sail past. Pat was a kind and friendly man.

Pat died at St. John Hospital following a heart attack.
