Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Wed. at New Creations Ministries, West 5th & George St, in Sioux City, with the Rev. Michael Ring officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Silver Ridge Cemetery, Ponca, Neb. Visitation will follow the service Wed. at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa.
Bill was born Tues. 4 Dec. 1945, in Downey, Calif., the son of James E. & Rosalea (CLARK) ARROWOOD. He attended school in Norwalk, Calif.
He was married to Leanna KAMRATH on 9 Apr. 1976, in Elk Point, SD. He started working in California with the circus in concession stands & was involved in many of the Rose Bowl parades. In 1970, he moved to Sioux City & worked at IBP. He later worked as a cook in area restaurants & was in charge of the Morningside Country Club kitchen until 1996, when he retired due to his health.
He enjoyed fishing & cooking. He was devoted Cubs fan, always hoping every year they would win the series.
He is survived by his wife, Leanna; 2 sons & their wives, Paul & Tami of Sioux City & Brian & Michele of Whiting, Iowa; 5 grandchildren, Kage, Kamren, Corey, Renee & Ashley; his mother, Rosalea CLARK of Sioux City; a brother & his wife, James & Melody ARROWOOD of Sioux City; 2 sisters, Sally SANCHEZ of Sioux City & Iris WELCH of Blue Springs, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Victor D'ABREAU.
