Ernest Webster Covart died last Thursday evening after an illness from paralysis. The funeral service was conducted at the Methodist church by Rev. Smithers last Sunday morning and interment was in Lakeview cemetery. The Odd Fellows and Rebekah lodges attended in a body and conducted the grave seremonies [sic] of the orders.
E. W. Covart has been in business in Buffalo for a great many years. He was born here June 29, 1862 and married Emeline Leeson July 13, 1890. His widow, two sons and a daughter survive him, besides his mother, two brothers and one sister, the latter Mrs. A. E. Sturges.
He united with the Methodist church here in 1900 and has since been a faithful member.
