Kenneth Samuel "Kenny" Ledford

Death: Mar. 2, 2008, USA

Kenny was a proud Navy Veteran and Father of one child his son Kenneth Shawn Ledford. He was born in Tennessee and raised in Aiken South Carolina by his parents Robert and Edna Lucille Ledford. Kenny had one sibling Betty Ledford Kelly. Kenny loved seeing the world during several tours of duty on aircraft carriers. Kenny was serving on the USS Coral Sea when his son Ken was born in 1962. Kenny remained a "Southern Gentleman" throughout his life. After he left the Navy he hired on at Lockheed as a technician. He excelled at electronics, instrumentation,and mechanics. He loved fixing cars. Over the years he worked his way up the corporate ladder in Silicon Valley from technician to Engineer to Supervisor and Plant Manager at Seagate before he retired. He was a good friend and Father. Kenny is survived by his son, one grandson, Cole and two granddaughters, Kendal and Nickie. Kenny's ashes were buried at the Sacramento Valley Veteran's Cemetery with full military honors March 2008. Kenny is missed and remembered every day.
