He was a 1984 graduate of the Cochranton High School and the Crawford County Vo-Tech. He was employed at Leech Carbide, Inc., Meadville as a Journeyman Specialist. He was an active member of the All Wheel Keystone Riders and was an avid motorcycle rider. He was a member of the Meadville Italian Civic Club, The Meadville Fraternal Order of Eagles, The Meadville Moose, the Meadville VFW Post 2006, The Meadville American Legion Post 111, Cochranton Station 4, Conneaut Lake Station 3 and the Conneaut Lake Park Station 5.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Sylvia Alabran Sr. of Cochranton; two brothers, Richard D. Alabran Jr. and his wife Rose of Cochranton and Robert D. Alabran and his wife Cynthia A. of Cochranton; a sister, Patty Baker and her husband Robert of Greenville; 11 nieces, 5 nephews, 2 great nieces and 12 great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fulbert and Leona Alabran and James and Mary Nodler.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at 11:00 am at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville with Willard Alabran, pastor of the Greenville New Apostolic Church, officiating. The committal and interment will follow at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Meadville
