Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Born October 15, 1932, in Montserrat, he was the son of the late Ellis H. Chappell and Gladys Murley Chappell. He had lived at the Marshall Habilitation Center most of his life.
Survivors include two brothers, Howard Chappell of Warrensburg and Melvin Chappell of Stigler, Okla.; one sister, Una Masoner of Raymore; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, George Chappell, and one sister, Norma Chappell.
