Edwin Mead Beeler was born on July 02, 1871 in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, the son of John Beeler (1837-1920) and Emma Walker Mead Beeler (1842-1928).

He relocated to Denver, Colorado before 1897, when he was listed in the Denver City Directory as a draughtsman. He moved there to be near his brother, John Allen "J.A." Beeler (1867-1945). J.A. had moved to Denver before 1885, where he was the Vice President and General Manager of the Denver Tramway Company. In 1908, their parents, John and Emma Beeler moved to Denver to be near their sons.

Edwin married Mary Agnes Hickey on June 12, 1900 in Denver. She was born on June 22 1881 in Albany, Albany Co., New York.

The children of Edwin Mead Beeler and Mary Agnes Hickey Beeler were:

1) Mary Edna Beeler was born on March 17, 1901 in Denver, Denver Co., Colorado
2) Robert Austin Beeler was born on June 16, 1902 in Denver.

Edwin and his family moved to New York City before 1930, when the 1930 census listed Edwin as a civil engineer. Their son, Robert (age 27), was listed as an industrial banking salesman. Edwin was a partner with his brother, John Allen Beeler, President of the Beeler Organization, Consultant Engineers. They had both been in the engineering profession for more than 30 years. The firm became interested in apartment house construction in Scarsdale. Edwin moved with his family to the Northgate Apartments in Scarsdale.

Edwin died on October 18, 1931 in Scarsdale, Westchester County, following an illness of several months. He was 60 years old. Funeral services were held at the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, followed by interment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Westchester County.
