Charles Adams Miller was a master mechanic at Wilcox Silver Plate Company in Meriden. He was born in Peterborough, NH and educated in the Peterborough Academy. In 1862 he removed to Meriden and worked at Parker, Snow, Brooks & Co in the making of Springfield rifles for the government. He was the son of Jesse Miller and Asenath Bonner of Peterborough, NH and the husband of Sarah M Ames, daughter of Alvah and Betsey Ames of Peterborough.
