Grady Curtis Williams, Sr. was born to Alva and Ella Keeter Williams on Mar. 20, 1920 in the Christie Community.
He departed this life on May 30, 2008 at his home in the Piney Community.
On Nov. 26, 1949 he married Jewel Akins.
Grady served his country in the US Air Force during WWII. He was a member of American Legion Post #102.
Preceding him in death were his parents, brother Roy Williams, sister Delma Haddock and an infant brother and sister.
Survived by wife Jewel, daughter Ellen Workman and husband Ernie; son Grady Williams, Jr. Grandchildren, Nathan Workman and wife, Tasha; Jessica Workman; Jerry Williams; and Cody Williams.
Funeral services were held June 3, 2008 at 2:00pm in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with Jack Steele officiating. Interment followed in the Piney Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
Brother of Roy Williams (buried at Piney). Son of Alva Williams and Nancy Ella (Keeter) Williams, buried at the Foreman Cemetery in Westville, OK. Brother of Delma Williams Haddock buried at the Westville City Cemetery. Grandson of Mary Siddie West Williams and Billy Williams buried at the Foreman.
