NOKOMIS - Robert W. Clark, 80, of Nokomis, Illinois died at 4 am Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Pana Community Hospital. He was born April 17, 1931 in Stonington, Illinois to Herman and Edna (Howard) Clark. He married Mildred T. Huber on May 26, 1962 and she survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Diane Clark and Sandy (Jeff) Niemann both of Hillsboro and Karen (Eric) Sanders and Kristie (Todd) Deluka of Nokomis; six grandchildren, Ashley and Morgan Deluka; Shelby and Sydney Niemann; and Griffen and McKenna Sanders; and three brothers, Floyd (Irene), Joe (Irene), Bernard "Chug" (Wilma Lou) Clark all of Nokomis. His parents, one sister, Irma Janssen, and one brother, John, preceded him in death.

Robert served his country as a Marine in the Korean Conflict. Robert, a farmer and carpenter, was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church. He served on numerous church councils and committees. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, gardening, fishing, Sudoku and playing cards. He adored his grandchildren.

Visitation: 4-7 pm, Monday, June 6, 2011 at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis. A prayer service will conclude the visitation at 7 pm.

Funeral Mass: 10 am, Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Nokomis with Reverend Dan Willenborg officiating. Burial at Calvary Cemetery, Nokomis.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Louis Catholic Church, Nokomis Community Closet, or Montgomery County Cancer Association.
