Orrel E. Bacon
St. John - Orrel E. Bacon, 73, formerly a resident of Crown Point, died Monday in Maplecrest Nursing Home in St. John.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Merriam Funeral Home, Crown Point. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Hebron. The Rev. Stanley Rolston will officiate at the services.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert Steuer of Hammond and Mrs. Jack Conner of Crown Point: a sister, Mrs. Alma Clark of Elmwood, Ill., and two grandchildren.
Mr. [sic] Bacon was a member of the Crown Point Methodist Church.
