Loretta's parents were Jeremiah Smith b. 13 Sep 1796, d. 23 Aug 1842 and Abigail Demont b. 13 Jul 1800, d. 15 Sep 1883 (buried in this cemetery). She was their ninth and last child. She married Andrew Bigler 22 Aug 1855 in the Endowment House in Salt Lake City, Utah.
