Final Rites for Miss Elizabeth Adams
Funeral services were held at Boone's Chapel Saturday afternoon for Miss Elizabeth Adams who passed away Friday night at the home of her sister, Mrs. D P Young, where she had lived for the past nine years. The rites were conducted by the Rev. Spurgeon, pastor of the Mount Olive Baptist Church. Burial was in the nearby cemetery with Murphree Funeral Home in charge.
Miss Adams, 62, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W G Adams, was a native of Guin, Alabama. She came to Mississippi, with other members of the family, when quite young.
