Concrete slabs poured over the graves within fence petitioned by Chambers County Historical Commission to Chambers County Commissioners Court in 1986.

Monument erected by Chambers County Historical Commission in 2006.

Iron fence erected by Solomon Barrow Chapter, Baytown, Daughters of the Republic of Texas.

Citizen of the Republic of Texas Medallion provided by Solomon Barrow Chapter, Baytown, Daughters of the Republic of Texas.

Elizabeth Winfree Barrow was the daughter of Phillip & Sarah Hayes Winfree. She married Solomon Barrow about 1822 in Louisiana. Elizabeth, Solomon and their children were instrumental in settling Point Barrow during the time of the Republic of Texas.
