He was ill for 23 days. Below his name on the Mortality Schedule is Jane Ewart, age 18, from Rock Island, Illinois, who died on May 12, 1850. She also died of "Ship Fever" and had been ill for 6 days. They are not listed as married though. In Homestead Cemetery, Coal Valley, Illinois, on the Warnock family tombstone's back side, there is a David and James Campbell, along with Jane Ewart. There is also a small round tombstone next to the large one where the top has "J. Campbell" and on the front has "J. Ewart".
