Willard Thomas Absher, 68, of 5134 Spirit Lake Highway, Toutle, died Sept. 23, at Kalispell, MT. Born August 24, 1907, in Hood River, OR, he lived in the Toutle area for 15 years.
He was a retired longshoreman and a member of ILWU.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Doris Dougherty, Big Ford, MT, and Mrs. Beverly Rainboth of Silver Lake; a brother, Walter of Longview; a sister, Mrs. Inez Forkner of Longvoew; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 pm Friday at Hubbard Chapel with Rev. Martin Lee officiating. Interment will be in Silver Lake Cemetery.
