OBITUARY Geeen Bay Press Gazette: Ruth Lucille Arndt, 87, Sister Bay, was called home by her Savior, Jesus Christ, Monday, Feb 4, 2008.

Lucille was born July 9, 1920, in Sister Bay, to Ralph and Ruth (Seaquist) Larson.

She graduated in 1939 from Gibraltar High School.

She married Robert Eldon Arndt Dec 17, 1944, in Chicago, Ill., where they raised a family of four children.

It was her earnest desire for everyone she met to understand we are unable to save ourselves from sin; and that it's only through faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ that our sins are fully paid for and we are given eternal life with God (Ephesians 2:8-9), and "To make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God" (Ephesians 3:9).

Survivors include three sons, Douglas (Sharon), Chicago, Ralph (Sue Ellen), Union, Ill., and Roy (Gloria), Crystal Lake, Ill.; son-in-law, Jim Wagner, Anderson, Ind.; seven grandchildren, Christopher (Sherri), Jason (Ruth), Sara, Lindsay (Peter) Fischer, Paul, Bethany, and Lauren; three great-grandchildren, Philip, Peter and Ethan; and sister, Helen Fagerstrom;

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Janet Ruth Wagner; and brother, Ralph Eugene Larson.

The memorial service was held at Scandia Village, Sister Bay, Saturday, Feb. 9, with the Rev. Delmar Dahl officiating. Participating were Christopher Arndt on piano, singing by Bethany and Gloria Arndt, and eulogy by Jason Arndt.

Burial was at Arlington Cemetery, Elmhurst Ill., Feb. 11.

The family is thankful to everyone at Scandia Village for all the love and care they have shown Lucille the 10 years she was a resident. Memorials may be sent to Scandia Village of Sister Bay.
