Born February 21, 1923 in Salt Lake City to Gordon Lee and Winona Ansell Legg.
Married Virginia Blackburn on February 5, 1946; she preceded him in death in 1986. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. Worked at Chicago Bridge & Iron Co. for 36 years. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He dearly loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by two sons and one daughter; Gordon E. Legg, Jr., John Lyle Legg and Robyn D. Webb; five grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 23, 1990 at 2 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, where friends may call one hour prior to the services.
Burial: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
