Obituary of Stuart E. Aegler

Diamondhead, MS ~ Stuart E. Aegler, resident of Diamondhead passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 at the age of 80.

Stuart was born February 12, 1932 in Elmhurst, IL. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1950 to 1953.

He went on to receive a Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois; Masters of Science Degree in History from the University of Illinois; and attended IIT and John Marshall Law School. He was a Chemical Engineer for National Video in Illinois and flight instructor at Midway Airport, Chicago, IL. As a business owner and entrepreneur, he started and operated Central Air Charter in DuPage, IL, American Rolling Shutters in California and Illinois, and Eagle Landscaping in Diamondhead, MS.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Aegler of Diamondhead; daughter, Katherine Olson-Goldman of Waterford, WI; son, Colin Aegler and his wife, Dayna and grandson, Thomas of Des Plaines, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Alice Aegler, and older brother, James Aegler.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 9:00 to 11:30 am at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, Pass Christian. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 am in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Burial with military honors will be held immediately following the service at Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, MS.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
