MARTINSBURG – Mrs. Anna Mae Davis, 74, of Amboy, Minnesota, a former Martinsburg resident, died Tuesday morning at the St. Joseph Hospital, Mankato, Minn.
She was born August 25, 1896, near Martinsburg, the daughter of George W. and Alice Miller Green. She had lived in the Martinsburg area until moving to Amboy in 1941.
She was a member of the Amboy Presbyterian Church.
She was married to Ralph Davis near Martinsburg on Feb. 21, 1917.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Dwight, Amboy, Minn.; one granddaughter; two brothers, Jesse Green, Fremont, and Ernest Green, Sigourney; and one sister, Mrs. Merle McClelland, Riverside, Calif.
Two services will be held. One in Amboy Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m., and another at the Fremont Funeral Chapel Friday at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Robert E. Hefty officiating.
The casket will arrive at the Fremont Funeral Chapel at 7 p.m., Thursday. Following the Fremont services Friday, burial will be at the Mount Zion Cemetery near Martinsburg.
