According to the 1900 Census for Hardy's Bridge, Geneva Co., Alabama, Wealthy and James had five children, but only three living in the 1900 Census. The three children were: Samuel, Elbert and Georgia. In the 1910 and 1920 census she is living with her sister, Elizabeth Finley Laird, in Euchee Anna, Walton Co., Florida. She is listed as a widow in 1910 and 1920. According to Mary Elizabeth McDermott Hobbs, great niece of Wealthy Finley Laird, Wealthy is buried at the Gum Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Glendale, Walton Co., Florida. No marker has been found for Wealthy at this cemetery. It is thought that she is buried near her Father, Elisha, and her sister, Elizabeth Finley Laird.
