David died at 2:19 a.m. in the Ohio State University Hospital, following a brief illness.

David was born to Patrick L. and Victoria L. Wisecup Anderson. In addition to his father, survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen (Scott) Schmidt; maternal grandparents, Claude and Vivian Wisecup; paternal grandfather, Joseph H.A. Anderson; aunts and uncles, Don & Betty Anderson, Sam & Gloria Anderson, Mary Ann Adkins, Celia & John Wetzel, James Anderson, Christina Clark, Delores & Paul Davis, Benita & Melvin Jones, and Tonya Lunsford. He was preceded in death by his mother and paternal grandmother.

Dave was employed by Lowe's Home Improvement. He was a member of the American Bowling Congress and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 600. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and bowler.

Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Marys Church with Rev. Lawrence Hummer officiating.
