Elias Isaacs was a member of "The Great Synagogue" of London. The Great Synagogue of London Register, Volume 112, has several listings of the births of Elias and Janes's children. They were living at 11 White Street, Cutler Street, Houndsditch during the period of 1835-1848.
He and his wife immigrated to the United States in 1866 and settled in New York City.
Elias died of Cardiac Mitral obstruction. According to his death certificate, he lived in New York City for 24 years. His wife was still alive when he died. Jane died about seven months later.
