Dorothy Faye Baer, 87, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 at a local hospital.

Dorothy was born on September 26, 1923 in Brady, Texas to Lee Roy and Fannie (Fisher) Crisp.

She married Edward "Ed" Baer, Jr on December 28, 1977. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2009.

Survivors include her sister, Christine Hurd of Granbury, TX; grandchildren, Wendy Halsted of Avinger, TX, Shelly Harmon of San Jose, CA, Amy Wesley of San Angelo, TX, Karen Bishop of Mount Pleasant, TX, Sharon Bishop of Del Rio, TX, Sarah Carrillo of Del Rio, TX, Aaron Bishop of Del Rio, TX, and Christina Bishop of Austin, TX; 11 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Roxanna; two sons, Larry and Ernest; two brothers; and two sisters.

She was the world's best grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved here.

Graveside service will be Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, San Angelo, TX, with Rev. Buddy Trull officiating.

Johnson's Funeral Home, San Angelo, TX, is in charge of arrangements.
