In the will of his father William Bean,
William inherited land in Culpeper
County Virginia William Sr. died in
Loudoun County Virginia and his wife
Hannah died there in 1833. William
moved to Culpeper before moving to
Ohio.
Elizabeth's last name of France comes
from the bible of her son Thomas
E. Beans. The bible was presented to
Mr and Mrs Thomas E. Beans Dec.25,1880.
The first birth is--William Beans born
March 6,1789 and second
Elizabeth France born May 22,1793.So
now we know her last name. Their
son Thomas E. Beans is in the 1850

children were I have no idea. John's wife
had died in 1848 at the age of thirty years.
He traveled to California twice between 1849
and 1854 once to look for gold, and the second
time to guide his brother and others to
California. According to his bio. his brother
remained in Oregon while he went on to California.
